Al-Jabbar is the one who can restore what is broken, fulfill what is lacking, and enforce His will without any resistance. Hadrat 'Ali used to supplicate, "Ya Jabbira kulli kasirin wa ya musahilla kulli 'asirin" which means "O Jabbar, who mends all that is shattered and brings relief to every hardship."
Al-Jabbar
is the one who can assert His will without facing any opposition, which
requires submission from His creation. This forcefulness is embedded in the
destiny of all His creation, and they cannot resist it. While the human being
is given a choice, we are also given the wisdom to differentiate between right
and wrong. We are granted freedom, yet our purpose of existence is to recognize
Allah, to seek Allah, and to become the servant of Allah. However, this is not
imposed on us as Allah has left it to our free will.
Al-Jabbar
is the one who is able to mend our shattered hearts and broken dreams. He is
the one who gives us the strength to carry on even in the face of overwhelming
difficulties. We can find al-Jabbar by turning to Him in times of distress and
seeking His help and guidance. By doing so, we can experience His power and
might firsthand, and we can find the courage to face whatever challenges lie
ahead.
